Wow, what a year it's been! Looking back on 2025, it is hard not to smile at just how much refilling happened. The year brought big wins, meaningful new partnerships, and millions of new refillers to the game. Ending single-use plastic waste has always been our focus, and this year, that work reached new places and audiences, including a few unforgettable stadiums.
PATH showed up in hockey rinks, on Cirque du Soleil stages, and across baseball fields and basketball courts. Sports fans, pop culture lovers, fashion communities, and people simply trying to make better choices every day all became part of the journey to refill more.
Here are some highlights from 2025. Â
PATH becomes the official water sponsor of the Denver Nuggets and the Avalanche
PATH kicked things off in Denver at the Ball Arena as the Official Water Sponsor of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.Â
Wherever large public events happen, it's an opportunity to reduce the sea of waste that can transpire. When we take the spirit of refilling to stadiums, festivals, forums, championships, contests, and olympiads, we're helping large numbers of spectators and participants keep things tidy with refillable PATH bottles. Here's an idea of just how much waste refilling can help reduce. According to the University of Missouri study, one college baseball tournament generated 47.3 metric tons (~104,000 lbs) of waste, including 17.7 metric tons from inside the stadium.
By providing fans with team cobranded refillable aluminum bottles, they can cheer on their favorite team and keep refilling to stay hydrated.Â

Making wishes come true with Give Kids The World
This year, PATH launched one of its most heartwarming initiatives through a partnership with Give Kids The World Village. The partnership brings shared values to life through the Share Your Light campaign, tied to every limited edition bottle. Give Kids The World Village is a nonprofit resort in Florida that welcomes children battling critical illnesses and provides them and their families with a week-long dream vacation at no cost. The organization exists to give families space to reconnect, create meaningful memories, and experience moments of joy during an incredibly difficult time. PATH supports that mission in tangible ways by providing practical comfort while also fostering an emotional connection between supporters and the families staying at the Village.
For every special edition PATH Give Kids The World Village cobranded bottle sold, another is donated directly to a family at the Village. Introducing refillable bottles into this experience, this partnership is part of our commitment to helping families feel supported, seen, and cared for, while turning everyday actions, like hydrating, into something that brings comfort and meaning.

We introduced PATH Air
On World Refill Day 2025 (June 16), we launched something fresh. We introduced PATH Air, a bottle sold empty and containing nothing but air.Â
Why did we do this? To make a point that PATH was never about the water inside the bottle, but about the refillable bottle and what we do with it instead. Globally, an estimated 1.3 billion plastic bottles are used every single day. We launched PATH Air to show that what the world really needs is just one good bottle and some great refilling action to stop single-use bottled water waste.
A Texas-Sized partnership with Mavericks and Stars
Everything is bigger in Texas, including this partnership’s commitment to sustainability. In October, we became the exclusive water partner for the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center.
"Providing more eco-friendly options in the arena this season demonstrates to our fans and everyone in North Texas that our organization is serious about sustainability," said Brad Alberts, Dallas Stars President and CEO.
This partnership brings refillable aluminum bottles to one of the country’s premier arenas and offers fans a collectible piece of memorabilia that they can use long after the final buzzer.

Taking the Stage at Climate Week NYC
In fall of 2025, our CEO, Shadi Bakour, sat down with ESG News during Climate Week NYC to discuss our boldest goal yet: eliminating 600+ million single-use plastic bottles.
During the interview, Shadi emphasized our core message, "Make refilling the norm, not the exception." By enabling reuse, we reduce the massive environmental cost of extracting resources for single-use plastics. It’s about shifting the global mindset away from a "throwaway culture."
Your style, your bottle with PATH custom
You asked for more inspo, and we listened. Our PATH Custom studio took off this year, allowing you to design your very own refillable bottle with custom colors, images, and text.
Our Pinterest page became the ultimate mood board for hydration inspiration. Whether you need some party favors for a wedding, a corporate event, or just want personal flair for your water bottle, inspiration can be found here for the PATH bottle.Â

Are you ready, kids? Mr. Krabs joined the crew this year
We invited more Bikini Bottom friends to the PATH lineup this year! In August, we expanded our SpongeBob SquarePants collection with the release of the Mr. Krabs character bottle.
This bottle joins SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward to complete the set. Collecting these bottles and reusing them is fun for kids of all ages who love being goofy goober gabs. Plus, these bottles are 100% made in the USA, combining fun with domestically made refillable bottles.

Proudly Made in the USA
Speaking of local production, 2025 marked a huge milestone for us when our "Made in the USA" bottles hit shelves nationwide.
Manufacturing domestically is a game-changer for the economy. According to the National Association of Manufacturers, every dollar spent in manufacturing generates approximately $2.64 in economic activity.
It is also better for the planet. Transportation accounts for nearly 29% of the country’s total greenhouse gas emissions. By making our bottles here, we cut down on shipping emissions and support American jobs.

Celebrating Differences with Exceptional Minds
For Autism Acceptance Month, we released our annual limited-edition bottle in partnership with Exceptional Minds, a nonprofit academy for artists on the autism spectrum.
This year’s bottle featured a joyful design by student artist Benny Lloyd. "This partnership is a bold step toward a future where inclusivity and sustainability go hand in hand," said our CMO, Ali Orabi. A portion of the proceeds went directly to supporting the Exceptional Minds Academy.

We couldn't list them all, but here are a few other fan favorites that dropped in 2025.
